Every Tuesday, 13.00 to 13.40 h.
Description: The short presentations (15 minutes followed by 5 minutes of discussion) will be such that everybody should be able to understand what has been discovered.

Life Science Café

Last Thursday of the month, 17.00 to 18.00 h.
Description: Short presentations on new companies and other developments in the Leiden Bio Science Park. Walk-in at 16.30h, with drinks and networking opportunity after the café.

Science Café Leiden

Nieuw Scheltema, Marktsteeg 1, Leiden
Last Tuesday of the month, 20.00 to 22.00 h.
Description: Presentations of scientists on a particular topic. Afterwards there is time to ask questions and participate in the discussions. With live music or distinct column, always fun, informal and free.

van Leeuwenhoek lectures on BioScience

Cell Observatory, groundlevel, Gorlaeus Laboratoria, Einsteinweg 55, Leiden
Last Thursday of the month, 16.00 to 17.00h.
Discription: The BioScience Initiative’s (BSI) aim is to bring together those engaged in research in various disciplines, in order to stimulate interdisciplinary collaboration. This is done through organizing a monthly colloquium; the van Leeuwenhoek Lectures on BioScience for staff members and students. All invited speakers are highly qualified and at the forefront of their field, which in most cases is interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary.
